Terms of Service
MeQueda is operated by Forja Labs (Florida, USA) and is in pre-release testing. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
These Terms govern your use of the MeQueda iPhone app and website (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use MeQueda. The Service is currently designed for users in the United States.
2. What MeQueda does and does not do
- MeQueda is a personal finance organizer. It shows information from accounts you connect and information you enter.
- MeQueda is not a bank, lender, broker, credit bureau, tax adviser or financial adviser, and nothing in the Service is financial, legal, tax or investment advice.
- MeQueda does not move money, make payments or transfers, or cancel subscriptions on your behalf. Features such as bill reserves and cancellation help organize information or open the merchant's own website; you remain responsible for any action you take there.
- Projections, forecasts, detected subscriptions and automatic categories are estimates and may be incomplete or wrong. Confirm important information with your financial institution.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in methods secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Connected accounts
When you connect a financial institution, you authorize MeQueda and our provider Plaid to access and retrieve your account information on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy and the Plaid End User Privacy Policy. Data from institutions may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate, and institutions may interrupt connections at any time. You represent that you have the right to connect each account you link.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service, including by accessing another person's accounts without permission, attempting to break security, reverse engineering where prohibited, overloading the Service, or using it for any unlawful purpose.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the information you add. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide and improve the Service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Subscriptions and fees
If paid features are offered, prices and terms will be shown before you buy. Purchases made through the App Store are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms; manage or cancel them in your Apple account settings.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using MeQueda and delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms or if needed to protect users or the Service.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MeQueda will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of money, data or profits, arising from your use of the Service, including decisions made based on information shown in it. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
11. Apple
If you use the iPhone app, these Terms are between you and MeQueda, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support, and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them against you. Your use of the app must also comply with the App Store Terms of Service.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
